What can I use from an existing project when I create a new project ?

When creating a new project you can easily use elements from existing projects

- The structure of the documents

- The categories 

- The statuses 

- The rooms

 

Elements than cannot be copied in a new project :

- The participants, their access rights and links

- The documents 

- The points

- The lists

 

To copy the settings of an existing project, you should:

1. Create a new project by clicking on the + ,  fil in the general data en save it. 

2. Go to Categories 

and click on "Import structure from another project" 

A pop-up opens , select the code of the project you will use as reference and select all the elements you want to copy.

Click on OK en everything is added when you click on SAVE 

 

3. Rooms

And click on  "Import structure from another project "

 

A pop-up opens , select the code of the project en select all the elements you want to import

Click on OK and everything will be added , click then on SAVE 

 

4. The statuses

And click on " Import structure from another project "

The pop-up opens, then select the code of the project you want to use as a reference. 

Click on OK, and the data is added. Click then on SAVE  

 

Slave the new project en go back to the main menu of the project

5.  Go to the entire project (black rectangle) 

And to the documents of the project

Under "Folder actions" you can choose "Import project structure"

Select de project you want to use as reference and click on IMPORT

The folder structure will then be imported in your new project.
